Beach Buddy Cancellation Policy

The Beach Buddy platform is a website that enables Service Providers to sell their services directly to you.

Beach Buddy does not own or supply any of the services provided and we are not an organiser or retailer of travel packages. When you (End User) make a booking, you are entering into a contract directly with the Service Provider.

The cancellation policy exists to protect both you and our Service Providers by providing a certain level of flexibility but also guarantees around bookings. This way you have the flexibility to cancel if you change your mind or your plans change and Service Providers have a guarantee that they won’t incur any costs due to last minute cancellations.

The free cancellation periods are unique to each package and this is shown on the package cards and on your booking confirmation email.

Free cancellation periods vary from ‘anytime’ to ‘none’:

Anytime – The ultimate in flexibility end users can cancel at anytime up to the start time of the package and get a full refund.

24hrs – End users can cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the start time of the package for a full refund. After this time there is no refund available.

48hrs – End users can cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the start time of the package for a full refund. After this time there is no refund available.

1 week – End users can cancel their booking up to 1 week before the start time of the package for a full refund. And get a 50% refund up to 3 days before. After this time there is no refund available.

2 weeks – End users can cancel their booking up to 2 weeks before the start time of the package for a full refund. And get a 50% refund up to 1 week before. After this time there is no refund available.

None – No refunds available in these instances.

Service Provider cancellations

Service Providers can only cancel bookings in extreme circumstances.

For example if the weather poses a safety risk to you, or if something prevents a Service Provider from carrying out the activity safely. Service Providers may also cancel a package if other conditions exist that would prevent them from offering the package.

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking they can propose to reschedule the activity. It’s up to you to accept or refuse these changes (for example, it may be difficult to postpone an activity if you are on a road trip). If you cannot attend the new proposed time or date, you will get fully refunded.
